| RDS is a nuclear technology solutions company specializing in the decontamination of radioactive surfaces. We provide engineering clean-up services based on our proprietary radionuclide ion-specific decontamination solutions.
RDS solves radiological decontamination problems through the use of our proprietary solutions. They remove radioactive contamination to acceptable levels within minutes. The solutions are water based and work by dislocating radioactive ions enabling them to be easily removed. This process provides improved decontamination, lowered dose, and major cost savings.
Our patent-pending solutions are effective on Radioactive Halogens such as iodine and fluorine; Transition Metals such as cesium and cobalt; and Actinides such as uranium, plutonium, and americium. Published data (available upon request) shows remarkable decontamination results (High Decontamination Factors (100 to 500) are common).
We operate in three market segments: Nuclear Power Industry Applications, Homeland Security Applications, and Commercial Applications.
